A GREAT DAY

i am veri sorrie if my comments yesterday hav made u all worried. i'm veri fine realli. my comments yesterday were meant for me to vent out some of my fustrations and i wasnt as tired and sick as u all hav thought. i guess our lives isnt always smooth n steady, rather, its full of challenges n tricky situations. and its always up to us to choose wat kind of lives do we want to lead? to face up to the challenges or to hide ourselves in our own wonderful world. i would rather conquer these challenges so that at the end of the day, i can tell myself that i hav tried my very best n hav no regrets. this mentality looks easy to accomplish but for mani years, i hav failed to acheive that. hopefully, i will overcome this mental barrier within this year?
oh qirong, will u pls stop talkin abt these philosophical stuff? u r driving mi nuts! okok, i will now talk about wat hav i done today! i woke up at 11am this late morning, unbelievable? but its the truth! cos i slept at 3.30am yesterday after watching a korean movie on foxtel which is similiar to the cable tv which we hav in singapore. this movie is abt a female underworld boss who married a civil servant as this is her dying sis wish. haha she even tried to get herself pregnant to fulfill her sis wish. in the end, she had a miscarriage during an attempt to save her surbordinates. fortunately, she was allrite after that n her husband joined her coy! cool!
ya this morning after waking up, i got myself ready for a river cruise. actualli, i didnt want to join the cruise but my friends kept on cajouling mi to join them. the other reason was her. we board the cruise at the barrack street jetty, which was very near to the city centre, at 1.30pm. the cruise takes about 2 hrs n during that time, small snacks were being served. on the ship, i got to know quite a number of pple n 2 of them were from sa. i graduated in 1998 n the other in 2001. as usual, due to mi timidness(aka "ham ji"ness), i didnt approach her for a small talk. ya, i could've pick up the courage to walk up to her n ask her how's her uni life n things like tat...wat the **** r u doing man, dude? the large number of pple on board the cruise( i heard there were abt 400) n my laziness didnt help mi cause.
after the cruise, i decided to join my student leader aka the king of northbrigde for his church service at UWA's social science lecture threatre. the session reminisced me of the chapelain's hour in sa, where almost everione was putting up their hands n singing songs in praise of god n jesus. i felt veri out of place during the service as i was a buddhist. but the sight of her n my friends around mi kept mi going till the end.
overall, today is a great day for mi. now its time to conquer mi books! cya then, cheers!
